On June 20th, the St. David’s Men’s group will be getting together for our monthly Saturday Breakfast meeting. We will start off with breakfast and greetings at 8:00 a.m. and then spend some time to get to know one another a little bit better. Last month, we had the Men’s Weekend with Archbishop Orombi discussing Holiness and we would ask all men who attended to please come to share your thoughts on this annual retreat. We will also look to share other ideas for the program and any concerns you may have. Spencer and Tom hope to see all of the Men of St. David’s at the next Men’s Breakfast. If you have not been able to make a breakfast meeting before, Spencer and Tom “cook” a “real breakfast” to enjoy before a short group discussion, prayer requests and closing prayer. All women are welcome! We are off to a great start this year with our Small Group Study which meets once a month on Saturdays. We have been learning about Self Control, one of the Fruits of the Spirit. We have enjoyed lively discussions about our tongues, our appetites and our characters.
  • June 20th – Controlling Our Finances, or Where did all the money go?
  • July 18th – Controlling Our Desires, being friends with the world
  • August 15th – Controlling Our Bodies, the temple of the Holy Spirit
  • September 19th - Spiritual preparation for our Women’s Retreat.
