Mission and Outreach

St. David’s is a mission oriented church, with a desire to help bring the love of God to others around the world. This is done through international missions and local outreach.

In the past we have sent teams to Mexico, Honduras, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. These have all been equipping missions to help build up local churches. We have also been blessed to participate for several years with Amor Ministries helping to build houses for the poor in Mexico. We support students at Uganda Christian University through a scholarship program.

Locally, every Saturday we feed a hot breakfast to the homeless in our community. At Christmas and Thanksgiving we enjoy celebrating with our guests these two special times of the year. We also provide clothing and canned goods to those who come by during the week. On a monthly basis we participate in a volunteer program of bringing lunch to the patients at the AIDS Clinic at County USC Medical Center. At Christmas we are involved with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree ministry to children with a parent in prison. As you can see, we are very active in reaching out and spreading God's love to others whether they are our neighbors or live in another part of the world.
